Always on Freelook

Is there a mod that does this? By always on, I mean that the free look usually done by MB2 would control all turning and would have 360 degrees instead of just 180.

If you mean also able to move in any direction rather than the base 4 directions, then you're talking about a totally different game. The entire engine, and also all the combat and puzzles, is grid based, and would not work without this grid.

You could consider a hex grid instead of a square grid, but hex grid is very messy in combination with walls, so for a dungeon crawler, that's also not an option.

No, I'm talking about instead of using the q and e keys to turn, using the mouse.

How do you pick up items then or pressing buttons on the wall, etc. - using the interface without a free mouse cursor ? Just wondering if i missed other options.

He means that when you hold the free look button(mouse 2) you get full 360 degree view as opposed to 180. You'd be able to turn completely around with free look.
