[spoilers] I'm looking for a simple XP multiplier mod.

Post by Beliar »

Hello there :).

I've played both the standard and Toorum modes, I'd like to play the game once again, but I'd like to mod the experience multiplier (or the leveling chart) in order to level up faster (something like 1.8 ~ 2.5x is okay), the problem is, I have no idea on how to mod the game so I'm looking for a ready to use module, I'm afraid it doesn't exist though (I hope I'm wrong).

So... any news for me?

If the mod doesn't exist already, It'll be nice if someone could point me to an easy tutorial on how to mod the game, and which files exactly I should mod. I don't know if the leveling chart is stored in a file or calculated on-tha-fly, either way, if it's a lua script i think i can mod it. No idea on how to make the game read my modded file also...

Thank you guys.

OFF: I don't know if i'm spoused to move to avoid hits in this game...

1.8x to 2.5x is actually not a lot. Considering the XP required per level scales up, that will only net you one, maybe 2 levels.

The data archive can be extracted, but the LUA files need to be decompiled, which is quite a bit of complex work.

What you might try instead is looking to activate the console, and then use it to spawn tomes of wisdom and health, to provide you with extra skills and health. (After all, the only things you gain at levelup are skillpoints, a few hp and a few energy points.)
