Level 4 - Green Iron Lock @ Exit

Seemed I missed something, anyone can help me with a clue where is the key for this lock?

1) Go to the Trial of Thoughts (the one where you have to solve the teleporter and the pittfal puzzle
2) as you approach the end, there is a small alcove/room/1 square on the right
3) in the alcove is a hidden button
4) inside the final teleporter room (the one in the middle surrounded by pitfalls) when you enter on the left side is a button (the bigger type) on the wall (turn left, forward, forward, turn left)
5) the button in alcove closes the pitfalls
6) race to the second button and press it
7) the final teleporter disapears, and the pitfall opens
8) fall down... there's the key

I can't find the key is one behind the closed door?

I race and hit the switch and hear it click but I fall down when the trap door opens when i go back the portal is still goin gin the middle what am i missing?

Follow the above guys instructions(spoiler tag guy)
then do this
The teleporter in the middle of the crossroads disables, and THAT trap door opens. Jump in that pit. Keep in mind this is also temporary, so you need to be fast.

If thats the case I dont see how I could get there I barely have enough time to hit the switch even when i hit the switch the trap door opens and i fall. I would never make it back to the middle walkway to get to center.

Make sure none of your people are yellow weight limited, this slows your movement. Also, if your computer is old, I've been told that lowering the reso/quality helps for timed puzzles. I don't know if theres any validity to this since my PC runs it fine.

Yeah mine can be slower I checked the weight none are in yellow, I turned down all th graphics to low or none and still cant make it.

Make sure you strafe left when youve clicked the button over the pit. hit 'A', 'A' really quick. Also, strafe into the hallway with 'A' after the first click as well. These all cut down on turning.
