I was thinking that since I assume we are getting larger areas in Grim2, could the movement speed be adjusted a bit faster? The walking speed didn't really matter as much in the first game since the levels were very compact, but it's a really slow speed for covering more ground. It's definitely slower than in the classic dungeon crawlers.
It would be great it the walking speed could be adjusted in the menu.

This is a bad suggestion. It's very unlikely AH will include anything like it. Reason is that walking speed in LoG 1 is influenced by two things: load and Thunderbolt trait. The more your charaters have to haul around the slower your party gets up to the point that it can't move anymore. The Thunderbolt trait (only available to Toorum) does add a huge increase in both walking and attack speed but even Toorum can't move at all when he's overloaded.Panda wrote:It would be great it the walking speed could be adjusted in the menu.
What we might see in LoG 2 is an additional race influence to walking speed and maybe gear that speeds up walking. For example in Dungeon Master it is possible to give the party a huge boost to walking speed by giving all characters boots of speed.

Yeah. I'm suggesting changes in the sequel. I don't really care for the way LoG1 handled the walking speed and I think it would be worse with a game that has probably more walking.Dr.Disaster wrote:This is a bad suggestion.
