Custom starting Party?

Me and a group of mates, have played practically every PnP RPG that was out in the 90's.

I wanted to gift Grimrock to a few people, but first, I was going to make a custom dungeon, based on some old maps/zones we actually played and created, but I also wanted to make a custom party with our old character names, and some starting skills. One way I thought of, is to make a my custom dungeon, add one "special" section with whatever armour, skill books etc I need to "prep" the party, exit that area, and make sure it cant be re-entered (it will show up on the map page, but I can live with that), then save the game, and send the savegame via email after gifting the game; reason for this is that we had a mage that used fire a lot, a dedicated archer, a backstabbing rogue, etc, and I wanted to have the party start with some default points, and not from scratch, and I also wanted to prime the portraits, as we had some drawings of what the party members might look like.

All the above is via things I know about the editor and character importing, but can:

* Custom skills be made, or skills mixed around, or levels of skill unlock mixed around.
* The default amount of skill points per level handed out.
* More Traits or extra traits per character.

There's more I wanted to do, but these are probably the main things.

Thank you.

EDIT: I just remembered that yes, I'd have to send the dungeon files, and they MAY start a fresh party to play it and ruin some bits, but I'm sure they would stick to my sent save game as asked.

Marco.

My apologies. I think I more or less wanted confirmation on if those things were even possible, rather then ideas on how to code it, but yes, should of posted there.
