Hi,

i am using Lubuntu 11.10 (LXDE+Openbox) 8.91.4 fglrx. While the mouse cursor is correctly displayed i get a white semi-transparent box around it.

Same problem here: Ubuntu 12.04, fglrx v9.002 (AMD/ATI catalyst), IceWM.
Any ideas?

Same problem here.
Debian wheezy (7.0beta4), Xfce, Radeon HD3450 (RV620), x.org (distro) driver.
Problem persists after logging out and rebooting - Edit: to clarify; it's limited to the menu and game, cursor returns to normal after quitting the game.
Looks like some transparency/opacity is misbehaving?

Anyway, it's really annoying to play with / not really worth playing the game with.

Also i cannot enter Text ingame (i.e. Notes on map, Savegame names). Might be a completely different issue though.

Same problem here. Ubuntu 12.10, AMD fgrlx version 9.

I can confirm this is still an issue in 1.3.7 and it's present on the Steam version.

Judging from the comments it seems to be limited to AMD graphics cards.

I have a 5650HD using FGLRX 13.4

Same issue here. It doesn't seem to impair gameplay at all, but is slightly annoying. No problem entering text here...

I'm on a Dell Precision M6400 with an ATI FirePro M7740.

Same issue here. I also get a small box at the top left corner of my screen, this stays on after I close the game and will stay until I close Steam. This doesn't happen with other Steam games.

Mint 14, Radeon HD 6850, tested with most current driver both production and beta.

I have an hybrid system: intel hd4000 and amd 7730m, and I don't have this issue with both cards.

I use the Steam version, Kubuntu 13.04 and catalyst 13.6 beta

My only issue is that the game crash if I leave the game (alt+tab) when in a menu (no issue if I'm not in a menu).

Same problem here with a HD 4870 and the FOSS radeon driver (mesa 9.1.3). Game runs great otherwise, this bug is just a little bit annoying, so please fix it
