Modifying Characters

Hey Guys,
Can someone who has modified their characters to give them extra skill points etc post up here on how to go about it?

Ya, you may use the console.lua, put it in gamedir, open up in game (shift+3 = ยง) and type:
and press return.
That will help

Ah cheers, not sure how to get the console.lua, has anyone posted a guide on this? (Did a forum and Google search and couldn't find anything solid)

If you just want to enable the console without as much complexity:
