Hi. Glad you like it. In answer to your question:
In the chamber with the water essence, there is a locked room. Inside that room is a lever that activates an invisible platform across the water that allows you to get
the essence. There is also a scroll in there that gives you the right path to follow. The clue "hold your breath" refers to the buttons under the water by the talking head that activate the magic bridges for access to the alcoves.
Hope this helps. I have also released "Wrath of the Gorgons Revised Edition", which you can get from Steam and Nexus mods. This has numerous game improvements and changes and new puzzles etc. Check it out.
Regards
George

I hope people are still looking at this thread.
I completed this great mod just after it was made. I'm just getting back into Grimrock and playing this mod again but I can't for the life of me remember what to put in the alcoves
in Gorgon's Lair that say "From the Bowels of HADES
.
Can anyone help please?

That was a quick reply. Thank you. Of course, I remember now. How does the revised edition differ from this one? This is good as it is.

Hi. Well, I took on-board a lot of feedback from players who suggested ways the game could be improved. The new version looks better graphically, new puzzles have been added, each level has been tweaked or completely redesigned, monster attributes altered, better distribution of weapons, spells etc. It looks like the game I meant it to be.

Hi WaspUK1966
It was a good while ago I tried your Mod but did not get it finished, so once again took to it and found it very entertaining, the puzzles were very good and boss fights not too hard, all in all a great Mod, I would have liked a sequel or if you would post the source code so we could possibly learn by your creativity.....living in hope! Thx again for a great Mod
