Pit Fighter Gauntlets

I missed these on Level 9. Anyone know where they are? Also list the stats while you are at it so I can determine if its worth it. Also...
don't read if you aren't on level 10 yet
the way back to level 9 is closed off. Does it open again later?

about 3 steps from the wall that closes is a switch on the wall. It's deliberately not near the wall itself due to the ogre charge meant to make things dreadful on your poor clothies.
Also stats:
+3 protection
+2 strength
+6 attack power when unarmed
No light / heavy armor requirement, so they beat leather gloves in all aspects.

I figured that was the case but staring at the walls while moving makes me get motion sickness, so I am relying an walkthroughs for hidden buttons mostly.

Pit fighter gauntlets: Level 9 Location. (descriptive)
The gauntlets are behind a secret wall in the area where you first meet the ice lizards. There is a dark area which leads round and back onto itself. With a single grid tile on the back wall. There is a loose brick switch here. Near the entrance is a right turn off a 2x2 grid room with a dead end. The switch opens this dead end; Where pit fighter gauntlets and a few bombs can be obtained.
