Czech version of Eurogamer (it's minor web with tens/hundreds of readers) and reviewer wrote just 10 reviews, so...):

"Is not so easy to fall into a LoG 2. I can not be otherwise than evaluate a little more soberly. The game is once again feel tremendous enthusiasm of authors who only this time did not manage to restrain their ambitions and left everything to grow up too wide instead of dealing with more detail. Finally, but just realize that despite all the mistakes I've been in the game long time so let your love..."

I believe some of the details were not supposed to be revealed before the release on Wednesday, such as the "secret eighth class".
Completely incorrect, what was given was no reviews or videos are to be published before the 14th. It was the embargo set by the developers

Why does the countdown on Metacritic say "0 days 6 hrs 58 mins 17 secs
until game release"?
I thought we had another 27 hours to go.
O snap, it only takes into account the date and it will be the 15th somewhere in just 6 hours. I get it. Sorry for the silly question!

RPGFan, 95%, Editor's Choice:

I love the tagline: "The original Grimrock had a child with Myst and it was kidnapped by Dark Souls II in its infancy and raised to adulthood in the graveyard of forgotten CRPGs."
The review is otherwise definitely worth the read too, it seems to hit the nail on the head about what the game is all about (or at least what it tries to be, in my opinion

).
Saving Content, 5/5:

"This is a standout title that defines what a dungeon crawler truly is, and how sequels should be – bigger and better."

The RPGFan review totally made my day. Sounds like the game was almost like a religious experience to the reviewer

Aww yeah, my RPS's (my favorite site) review:
"Good grief, it’s so smart. Challenges are, almost always, so delicately flagged as to give you the gentlest prompts, but always let you feel like a fucking genius for solving them. I have genuinely punched my arms in the air and announced to my empty room, “I’M THE CLEVEREST MAN IN THE WORLD!” On too many occasions."
"Everything in this sequel is bigger, more elaborate, more detailed, and absolutely better. Which, after such a lovely first game, is quite the thing. You will be able to sink days and days into this, and still come away with secrets undiscovered, doors unopened. And I think a real respect for a game that is not only itself phenomenally smart, but one that thinks you are too. It’s a joy, so splendidly crafted, so stuffed with original ideas and surprises. This isn’t nostalgia any more – it’s a massive step forward."
