Seriously what are the Mac requirements? Has LoG2 higher requirements than LoG1? My newest 27" iMac runs on OS X 10.10.1 with a 1 GB video card, but my old 2007 iMac (given to closeby family) has a 128 MB video card.
Higher requirements? Totally yes! (see website's recommendation, but ignore multicore as the engine is max. 1.6-core demanding a fast clock)Frenchie wrote:Of course some people would need to beta test it... did I mention I have access to 5 different Macs: 3 iMacs and 2 Macbook Pros?

No, it's not. The ~1.6 core utilization is most probably coming due to driver internal multi-threading. And even if, I wouldn't call 1.6 core usage out of 8 (your system if I remember right) not a successful multicore engine.Dr.Disaster wrote:even you know that this is a liebadhabit wrote: ..but ignore multicore the engine is single-core demanding a fast clock)!
Your own finds mark your single-core claim a lie.badhabit wrote:No, it's not. The ~1.6 core utilization is most probably coming due to driver internal multi-threading. Sorry but that's your personal reality.badhabit wrote:My claim represents the reality more accurate then other claims....
Well, this was measured also by you, some reminder: max. 1.28 cores (0.16 * 8cores =1.28 cores).Dr.Disaster wrote:Sorry but that's your personal reality.badhabit wrote:My claim represents the reality more accurate then other claims....
I don't know what you mean, if you compare the HW requirements (PC) it increased significantly for CPU & GPU, it is to expect that Mac will behave the same (only in case of serious optimizations this might change). Also, google the forum for performance, many people (especially with laptops) who where able to play Log1 aren't anymore able to play Log2. Also, my system which was fine enough for Log1 falls for the outside parts under a minimum amount of FPS.Frenchie wrote:If I look at recommended requirements ...
