I said some things, but there are also things I didn't say. You're trying to guess what I didn't say, and form a long post based on that. The problem is that your guesses are wrong.

If you want some clarification on what was unsaid, perhaps this will help:

If I were to state what which one game gave the most inspiration to Grimrock, my guess would be Dungeon Master. But you can also find hints of the other games mentioned. Pretty sure the skeleton/cage puzzle is an homage to Eye of the Beholder, and the "dude talking to you in your sleep" is very reminiscent of Ultima Underworld. Either way, the name-dropping is alright because it both serves a purpose and is true. Meaning advertising and information - many gameplay elements are similar across the three games, and it's likely older gamers interested in the genre know at least one of them.

So I do not suspect AH of "lying." I can see what seems like inspiration from all the games mentioned on their website. They probably were inspired by more games than was mentioned, too.

Nah. You tried saying something, and from that failed to realize the flawed accusation. The problem is that you don't understand what you said. More than one individual realize what you said, and all you are doing is closing your eyes, plugging your ears, and singing, "nah nah nanah nah, I can't hear you." That's fine, but... not sure why you keep coming back to dance around the very thing you're pretending to avoid, na' mean?

In other words, your original statement which accused AH of lying when they included more than DM as an inspiration... was completely wrong. Agreed!

Azel, I'm not totally sold on the idea, but after a few weeks of reading your thoughts and responses, I'm starting to think you may be a moron. I apologize, I'm normally very diplomatic and well spoken, however, you make me want to cut out both of my eyeballs with unsterilized tuna fish can lids, just to avoid letting your form of reason and rhetoric into my brain anymore. Seriously, I have yet to see you have a pleasant conversation with anyone. Just hate and vitriol, no matter the subject. I, personally would appreciate it if you found other trolls to troll, like, somewhere else. You drag everything down around you, every time. I don't know how other people around here feel, but I'm very tired of listening to you. On any subject. Really. Learn some people skills, or go back to the youtube comment section, please.

Really everyone, I apologize for stooping to this. Im just sick of it, day in and day out. It's like a very rude groundhog day, repeating.

Edit: Actually (3 hrs later), I think you are quite intelligent. It's your people skills that rub me the wrong way. We have a supportive environment, to help each other make better and better mods. It seems that even if someone offers help to answer one of your questions, you respond with a lot of anger and sometimes denial. That's all needs to be addressed. I think you want to get interested in this, Which I support, fully. I also think you could be good at it, but not if you don't listen to these smart guys that have been doing it for years. Even if you disagree with someone trying to help you, just say "I don't think that's where my problem is, but thank you." OTherwise, why would ANYONE help you again?
