I've currently been play testing it as well. You're right, the amount of food doesn't seem to be enough.

In a food/weight, the Borra mushrooms are the most efficient. I've got an idea to hopefully put respawning food in the levels. As well as more food lying about.

If you are talking about the bit i think you are talking about.

Once you kill the Skeleton Commander and get the Tomb Key, and Also kill the Archer Patrol for their Tomb key. There are 2 tomb doors that both lead to Giant Snakes. One snake is in the room with the Summon Stones (the Summon Snake), the other in the room that has the invisible turners and mummy patrols (The Turner Snake). That will get you 2 Gold keys that will take you through to the last boss room to fight the cup guardians.

In the original i wondered about that other door, but eventually figured out that there is a secret fake wall where you fight the 'Turner Snake' that has a button that opens another secret door through to the cup guardians

Basically, there are 2 ways into the cup guardians. One from the 'Summon Snake' room, the other from the 'Twisty Snake' room. If you never found the button, then you missed out on a Moonblade.

I don't know what to tell you dude, it seems to be working as intended. but i'll write you a walkthrough starting at the entrance to the warp maze. (at the open door with the sign)

Head through the door and go Right

walk forward and go Right through the fake wall.

walk round and kill the archers avoiding the warps

pick up the 2nd Tomb Key (the 1st is gotten from the Skeleton Commanded) and stand on the pressure plate.

--- Starting again at the Entrance to the warp maze ---

Go to the far right side of the room (again using the fake wall to avoid the 'warps'

2 new doors should be visible.

Head in the first Tomb Key Door and use the secret button to open the room with the Summon Stones.

Kill the Giant snake and Pick up the Gold Key (the "Summon Snake")

Head back to the warp maze and in the second Tomb Key Door.

Kill the mummies and head to the back of the room.

Kill the Giant Snake and pick up the second Gold Key (the "Twisty Snake")

head to the back of the room and go right through the fake wall

press the secret button to open another secret door

You now have access to 2 doors that operate with Pressure Plates, 1 from the Twisty Snake room to the Cup Guardians, 1 from the Summon Snake room to the Cup Guardians. When 1 door is open, the other is closed

Use the 2 gold keys to open the way to the Cup Guardians

This is the Starting Position of the 2 Keys

I hope this Helps :)

It's possible that I have forgotten to connect the locks to the doors, but I'll have to check it out later (on my way to work just now)

that is the problem dude. There is nothing i can do to fix it on your current save game. I changed the Locks a couple of releases back to some better fitting ones, and obviously totally forgot to connect them to the doors.
