The glowing stairs underwater.

Post by Sir Tawmis »

So I give up, and need a hint. I have mapped all the water, pretty much checked all the surrounding areas too. I think I have hit every lever, switch, and turned every stone over - and I still can't figure out how to get down below (or what appears to be down below).

There's a well hidden switch next to the ivy on the wall on the small land area just north of that underwater forcefield. The chest doesn't have anything good in it.

I did find a button on the wall (no vines) which reveals a magic bridge to the other side, where you can get one of those crystals and the head tells you that the fifth one is hidden. Not seeing a wall with vines, near any chests!

Here's what I have so far...

Even tried checking the north walls underwater and not seeing it? Or is there and I am missing it?

Do you see the ladder on the map where the forcefield is? The obscure switch is 3 blocks above the block with the ladder, or 4 blocks below the "S" in Sleet Island. Check the vines/ivy carefully. Facing the west wall IIRC.

Son of a... that is a really small button, and really well hidden!

agreed. I went by that wall a dozen times, never noticed it, and STILL had to look hard for it after reading this.

Yeah, I was clicking just randomly all around the mid section (where buttons normally are) thinking it was BEHIND the vines... then, after about 20 minutes of this nonsense... I see this really, really, tiny button more towards the bottom right... Was not worth the time burned for what was in the chest/crate thing!
