That's it, do you need to keep them all to get the achievement?=)

I don't think so. The game counts every treasure you find so it is unnecessary to carry them all the time.

I put them back everytime in the same spot I took them from. Never keep them.

Well, first time I found one I said to my self: hehe if I ever leave this mountain I'm going to be rich, but once you step down and down and down , you wonder what's better, if nice chunk of meat or be the richest guy in the graveyard !
