Forum portrait photoshoppin' offer

Post by Sol_HSA »

I've never done anything like this, but figured might as well give it a go. If someone wants me to photoshop their mugshot into a forum avatar, reply here. I'll of course need a photo to work on.

EDIT: I'm done making these. If you still want one, feel free to contact me, but no promises.

EDIT: some done so far..

Out of curiosity, what exactly is involved in "photoshopping" a photograph into an avatar?

You crop, you re-size, and then ... what?

Interlace? Adjust brightness/contrast? How is making an avatar different from just regular old photo work.

Hey - it's simple, it works, he does all the work for you, and best of all it's completely free! To me, nothing else matters.

I chose my avatar out of a whim, but don't you think it looks a bit too bright compared to the Grimrock-ish theme of the forum? I'm just saying...

If you actually did that, you are my hero. :o I find it hard to believe, but I did see people make amazing art using just MS Paint, so I am reluctant to call anyone out on it! Either way, nice avatar. :)

I made it, really!
Well, not 100% to be honest. Since I'm a lazy fart (or better: I sooo love collaborations ;P) I stopped at 80% and let a friend add a 20% detail-factor to that! ;D
