Portraits, lots of 'em!

Post by kolt16 »

Bunch of random portraits (59), all 128x128 .TGA format.

First and foremost, I did not make any of these, some are linked already in this forum, the others can be found if you search google images for "fantasy portraits" or "rpg portraits" or similar. So kudos for the original artists. (Links to the originals can be found in source.txt)

All I did was resizing, cropping, some tweaking here and there.

Grimpack v2:

The idea here is to find and alter all sorts of images, and create a pack that is close to the original Grimrock portraits.

As before the source of some images can be found in the sources.txt included in the pack, the rest are from packs posted here on this forum. Some of these only had the background changed, but some have been modified extensively. I'll probably keep adding to it as time lets me. The goal would be to start making my own images at some point, but that point is still far away with my current skill level :D

(These will not overwrite the ones from the random stuff pack above, even for the only background change ones, still trying to find a useful naming scheme..)

Other Stuff:

A nice find by GamerAse:
http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=NW ... etail&id=2

These are 128x128 .tga-s, I remembered NWN2 using different sizes, but I was wrong it seems :D, so these should work as they are, and probably all other portrait packs made for NWN2..

Very nice, I've downloaded these. It's worth noting these include the DM portraits found in other threads, I ended up having them in the folder twice. :)

Nice, quite a lot of Legend of the five rings stuff there too. Two hobbies in one.

Though I don't really like mixing them so :) .

It's pretty much just random stuff at the moment. Maybe I'll separate them by style later, if I end up adding more to it. Right now I'm messing with the DM remakes, making them a bit more Grimrockish.

EoB ones are to small to work with, and I'm not too good at making stuff like this from scratch, unfortunately.

Do we have a thread for all the custom portraits people are making?

Well I have made three so far:

Once I get some more done I'd like to .zip them and upload somewhere so people can get the .tga files.

Tell me what you think! Thanks!

Cool pics! Can someone post that "Rocky backround" they use for the portraits?

btw- you drew these yourself, Sayian? They're pretty neat!
