game will not start

hi. game will not start on my computer. first time it did, the first image came up where one stands in the hallway and can choose to start a new adventurre, change options and so on.

and then, when i lowered the graphics requirements, and i also lowered the resolution on the screen, it crashed and wont start again, instead, just shows this image:

i've tried re-installing , but the same message keeps coming up every time.

Unlikely without any information about your system and what settings you try to run LoG at. Since the game did at least start once it seems you managed to activated some option(s) your system does not support. Try deleting LoG's config file "grimrock.cfg" in your "Documents/Almost Human/Legend of Grimrock" folder and see if the game starts again.

actually, deleting that file was just what i needed. now it works again! thanks a lot!

Been really looking forward to playing, but the game just won’t start. Tried everything—restarting, verifying files, even reinstalling—but no luck. It’s super disappointing, especially after all the hype. Just sitting here stuck on the loading screen. Really hope the devs are aware and working on a fix. Anyone else going through the same thing?
