Average Age ...

Post by Razgadz » Fri Apr 13, 2012 1:10 pm

... of the typical LoG Player ... thats an interesting question imho : )

Having played Bard's Tale I-III, Dungeon Master and EotB when they where released i was wondering what the average age is like of the other players here.

I'm 40 myself and probably will be playing games like this awesome piece of work at the age of 80 ( a bit slower in 'snail' mode then though i guess :P )

But i doubt i'm the oldest here !

... well ... sitting bored at work waiting for my sql code to finally finish so i can get home to play :P

Having played all of them, form Temple of Apshai, DM, EoB, Lands of Lore, M&M Series, Ultima Series, .....
I am so gladly avout this masterpiece of good traditional dungeon crawler.

Would like to see more of it till the end of my days :D

Haha, I'm 20. And I got a big brother (age 34) who plays it too. But I actually know quite a few of people of my age who plays LoG.

17 years old here. I hadn't even born yet when most of the old dungeon crawling games came out, but I'm loving LoG anyway 8-)

I'm 32, I was 7 or 8 when I first played Dungeon Master and I cite it as the #1 reason I'm a games programmer now. Was already interested in making games thanks to the 48k Spectrum but DM was the final nail in the coffin, was always going to end up in the games industry from that moment on :) I've lost count of the number of DM inspired indie projects I've seen come and go over the last 10 years or so, I'm so happy for the Almost Human guys that when they announced the game was going gold, it felt like a personal achievement of my own.
