After many weeks of building and testing I proudly present the full version of:
The Legend of the Lost Dwarf Kingdom of Kahrak'arul

In hundreds of fantasy realms heroes have failed to successfully reclaim dwarf fortresses overrun by evil.
Will you be the first to succeed where they have failed?

Experience a story-driven campaign the size of the original Grimrock 2 campaign.

Archmage Kendras has sent four of his friends on a journey to find what was lost and prevent the downfall of the civilizations of the great races. Will you turn around fate and make your way to glory or is the Lost Dwarf Kingdom of Kahrak'arul nothing but a legend?

Long forgotten outpost room with 6 plates and six portcullis. I do not see any clues which plates to weight. help pls ?

all plates have to be weighted.
I most of the time give hints (though sometimes very subtle). If there are none, try full on/off.

This specific riddle is about finding out how to activate all pressure plates.

Barely started, so some things are hard to asses, but so far:

The machete is a pretty high dps light weapon for early game, beating out 3 other weapons. If your game is campaign length you might not want to skip so many weapons.

If the narrow parts of the hedge walls being visible is not intentional there is a object hedge that you can use to make the ends took wider, but its hard to orient correctly.

The first chest I opened was a mimic, this is not really challenging as just annoying. Sure I could kite it for half an hour+ with a level 1 party but I opted to just die instead.

Hi,

thank you for the feedback.
I think the item progression worked out fine over the complete length. I'll take a look at the hedge object, but there won't be any updates as long as it's not game breaking, as the mod has been severly tested by several people and is considered finished.

About the mimic:
You might want to set the last sentence in a spoiler tag, but usually it takes about 3 minutes to take it down, I found that acceptable.

I have started playing this module and I am loving it so far. Great atmosphere. I have solved some riddles and found some secrets.

There's a scroll outside of that room near a grating (the party comments about that before you enter the room).
It's from Rindrim the mad and contains the solution.
Also try climbing down the pit.

If you climb down, you see that items have to be thrown down the pits to weigh pressure plates.
There are four rows with three pits each.
You can get back up by the stairs, there's a large secret button to open the walls.

Further info:

According to the scroll, on the upper level one item has to be thrown down on the second pit of the first line.
One in the first pit of the second line.
One in the first pit of the third line.
And one in the third pit of the fourth line.
Then the activation button has to be pressed to open the doors.
To get your items back, press the reset button.

Further info:
When you successfully activate the riddle, the door in the lower part opens too for an extra item (which you can see through the previously closed door).
