Using wizard/trickster scripting
In my mod I want it be where there is a wizard or trickster as a sort of 'gate keeper', so when the party gives them something it pulls a lever and opens a gate. Is it possible to do this using the scripting features of them? Thanks in advance.

Yes. Look at the area in Twigroot Tunnels where the trickster pulls levers. You can also read more about MonsterOperateDeviceComponent here.
