Character Slots 2 & 4 - No Attack Graphics or Sounds

For some reason, melee attack graphics like swipes and the sound effects that go with those swipes don't show up. All that is shown is that the monster is hit, the sound of the monster being hit, and the amount of damage dealt.

Spells still seem to work fine, as do ranged and throwing attacks. Just no melee attacks. Character Slots 1 & 3 work fine. Even if I swap characters between slots, being in slots 2 and 4 always reveal this issue. I have no idea where in my coding there might be something that would cause this. Any thoughts?
