No it's reviewer from czech magazine Score, if I'm not wrong. It's facebook post and the game is awesome in his words.

This is in Finnish only, but you might get something out of it with translator. It's a short history of dungeon crawlers with mention of LoG. He ends the article with "But now we have LoG1 & LoG2, world is a bit better place"

I wonder where reviewers dig out screenshots like that:

Image

It shows either an early beta or a demo of Eye of the Beholder.

- Sleep spell that never made it to the release (can't even hex-edit it in, unlike some other spells).
- Shields with graphics like these can't be found in the final version
- Camp button missing gold letter artwork

They probably remade Eye of the Beholder from scratch just to take some screenshots for their article, but got a few things wrong.

First uk review from us at Indie Retro News
Sure, there are still some minor issues such as combat being a little too easy at times, but I am willing to overlook that and embrace the dungeon (and surface) crawling masterpiece that is Legend of Grimrock 2.

Please, note that the previous poster's review link contains SPOILERS.

I believe some of the details were not supposed to be revealed before the release on Wednesday, such as the "secret eighth class".

Some reviews are rolling out today so if you wish to remain spoiler free, you'll have to be careful :)

"Let's look at Legend of Grimrock 2" ?

Definitely. But not today. I want to see this game as one of the first players without spoilers. I've been waiting two years :)
