Neck Chain + Leafbond Bracelet

The Neck Chain makes the wearer immune to starvation.
(even if his food bar is empty, health and energy still regenerate)
The Leafbond Bracelet gives the wearer +20% energy regeneration rate, but also +20% food consumption rate.

If a champion is wearing both, and his food bar is empty, does he still get the +20% energy regeneration rate?

Never tried that combo since food is not that hard to come by and Neckchain is pretty heavy. But with an empty food bar having no effect due to Neckchain the wearer of both should still get the benefit of the +20% energy regeneration from Leaf bracelet.

I've used combinations like that, but it's not always obvious if regeneration bonuses are working. I just assume that it works! (Just as I assume that the neck chain doesn't interfere with minotaur bonuses, or the bonuses from the lizardman trait which increases food consumption.)
