Ok this is my first mod, sorry if i do any mistakes because english is not my language.
Remember of Treihadwyl it's a remake from a very old game (1989) named Bloodwych. I do the remake from 8 bits version (amstrad, spectrum, etc). There are another 16 bits version (pc, amiga) but maps, towers, objects, etc are different between us.
The mod is complete, 6 towers with different floors. Obviously original game was simple (and more on 8 bits version) and this mod don't have big puzzles. I put few additions and modifications but the game is the same. There are a lot of upstairs and downstairs. Because this sometimes levels on automap are a little disordered but nothing important for players.

This is first version, same spells from grimrock game etc. Credits are in the ending.
Duration: about 10-12 hours (i hope ^_^).
Language: english (sorry for my mistakes because english is not my native language, tell me about it).
Party level: New party level 1 (about 14-15 at the end).

If anyone want to play this mod and can tell me about mistakes, bugs, etc i'm really grateful. I play this mod myself until the end but more eyes can see more mistakes. I want to upload to workshop but... in a few days :D

Did most of the first level and part of the second last night.

Pretty good so far. I'm playing with an advanced party (trying to max out a party before LoG 2 comes out :D ) so I can't accurately judge the difficulty level but there is one or two spots I've noticed so far that might be rough on a new party.

As for language there are some obvious errors in grammar ad a few spelling / typographical but nothing that has left me wondering what you meant to say.

I would suggest using different background images in the introduction. It has a nice story but the Grimrock pictures don't make sense with the text and is a bit disconcerting.

No bugs so far.

A couple of notes / scrolls have the writing the goes past the edges of the image which, for some reason, is a common problem in mods and it is really easy to fix. Makes me wonder if it is a screen resolution issue.

Good job so far.

Hi, played several levels: the mod is very nice! I'm playing with a strong party, so I've had few difficulties, but some of the 'new' monsters are very good!

Side note: I'm stuck at level 12 :(

I've taken the crystal of the serpent, and I have a 'spare' ruby key with no corresponding lock... The door for the tower of the moon is closed (I do not have a gear key), and also the other door, the bronze one near the alcove, is closed. I thought the alcove needed the Crystal of the Serpent, but it does not work...

Yeah, i think about this. I'm searching free images (without copyright) to use but... all i can found are really bad XD but i would solve this point. Thx for the comment. At the ending there are another images, not from LOG game (bloodwych players probably know when see it).

when you get first crystal you need to explore the level (not back downstairs). The level have another way to go down and explore other parts from down levels and finally got the key to moon tower on lvl 12 but you only can got on this way. The alcove you say don't need crystal of the serpent 8-) you get a clue about this door if you rescue a skeleton on underground lvl from the tower before falls on trap pit (when you cross teleport on center room from tan and blush gem). Doing this you can entrance at demons passage and they say a clue about the door.
The key you say... i think near the entrance to moon tower there are a door with ruby lock, or probably corresponding a door you don't open on first lvls. The game have a lot of keys!!!
Ok, general comment: There are few skeletons allies, if you help them you can get clues (for objects or treasures) or rewards. You need to save his life, sometimes are really easy, other times you need to solve a little puzzle (if you fail probably you kill it).

I seem to be stuck in the serpent tower.

I went down two sets of stairs (one flight immediately followed by anther) which put me level 7 underground, got a ruby key (if I remember right) then I go back up the two stairs to the second floor, in the same area of the health stone. Only option I have is to go down another flight of steps to level 1 but there is a wall grate right at the bottom that is blocking my path. I currently don't see any openings.

The description is a little vague but if you could give me a clue it would be much appreciated.

Did you find the tan and blue gems? If I remember correctly, using them was a way out... :)

I have the tan gem, but have not used yet. The alcove to use it is on the first floor and I can not reach it as the only stairs down has the exit blocked by a wall grate.
I have not found a blue gem.
I found a green gem which I used in a puzzle already (which was quite funny).

Edit, just went through again and crab crawled every wall and found no secret buttons except one which I had already pressed to open a secret. I tried placing the tan gem into the alcove where I got the ruby key but it had no effect. I'm afraid I may have taken a path that allowed me to get stuck.

For a little clearer explanation, at the point it says choose your path I went right and the grate closed behind me. Did as much as I could then went back and that grate was open, so I went in the other way (up the stairs) and the grate closed behind me. Done what I could so far but can't get any further.

I try to help you Ryeath_Greystalk. Sorry for my english, i hope you understand me XD

Green gem you say are used on main tower, don't worry about that because you do right and you are now on different tower.

Try this:

On choose you path you need to choose one direction. Later you can go to the other and complete the entire tower. On one direction you found tan gem and on the other blush gem. You are right, door close behind you at any direction but you are really near the end, don't worry!!.
Ok when you up two sets of stairs you can see a door opened in front of you (level 5) and a torch holder with torch (or without if you take it). If i'am right this door have a lock gear (the door opens from the other side, cross the door and you can see the lock). You need to go left inmediatly up two sets of stairs. There are a square room with a 4 patrol skeletons i suppose you kill. Here exist a hidden plate and close a wall in the next square room in front of you. The plate open/close the wall any time you walk in this plate, probably this is your problem. You can ear the sound of the wall open/close. Inmediatly after hidden plate you found a hide teleport and change your facing, be careful. Next there are a door with a skeleton archer and the key you need is in front of the door (and another secret button, push it when you kill skeleton archer because open another wall on next room). Then you can fall down using a pit. Ruby key is used later. When you fall down you found a key on the same square you fall. this key open blush gem door and serpent key used on level 4 (3rd floor of the tower). Don't worry you are near!!
When you found blush gem i recommend you to use on the alcove and you can see how it used... and try to save the prisoner you found!! ;)
