Regarding music, there should be a quiet heart beating in the background. If you make it right, you can even replace it with faster beat rate when something is about to happen.

That plus extra monsters appear out of nowhere and you'll have to add disclaimers about needing spare pair of underwear to play this mod. :)

like this but skin it to be fleshy.

Also as for the light sources, do glowing tumors. and make the 'torches' in this dungeon pack, glowing globs of flesh on a bone.

You have to bake a normal map from your bumpmap, if you have not yet.
Make sure the objects (it is Blender, right?) orientation is set as it should be in LoG.
Apply texture stack in Blender - diffuse, bump. Set these to RGB to intensity and turn normal 'on' at your desired height.
You´ll need no lights for that.
Go to Edit mode, go to UV mapping, select all, choose or create a new image to bake to.
Then back to default, choose render panel, scroll down and click on bake.
Here choose normal + tangent.
Then bake, and after that, save the normal map.

Wow this flesh set is amazing! Like someone else mentioned, it also reminds me of the flood from Halo, but it also reminds me of the last dungeon in Legend of Legaia. If it were a darker red with blood spewing out in places it could deepen the feel and impact of being in a hellish/demonic environment. Have you gotten any farther with it yet hyteria?
Working on a dungeon that displays a massive collection of assets while sorting them into convenient reusable plugin format (concept from some of leki's mods). Will contribute some of my own models as well eventually and follow that with custom dungeon.
