Hi Everyone,
PLAYTESTERS NEEDED
Full (beta) version of Labyrinth of Lies will be available in a matter of days (due Friday 11th October)
The game features include but are not limited to:
-14 full map levels (+last 2 levels which will NOT be available for beta testing yet)
-4 secret levels only reachable with high level magics (and maybe a sleepy mushroom or two)
-Wall set show offs! I think I have used almost every custom wall set available through the modding community, also flooded areas, breakable walls, light source interactions with some very cunning hiding spots and alcoves for secrets and loot.
-Magic system is reworked (120 spells) with spell upgrades, interactions and item enhancements.
-Implementation of 'must find spell scroll before you can cast it' system
-cold damage will paralyze champions.
-Some spells are able to manipulate items to create new items.
-Head hunter trait has exploded into a ritualistic "bonecraft" system where by you find different skulls, bones teeth etc and attach them to bonecraft equipment for rituals in which various bonuses are awarded (not just a +3 to attack power anymore)
-Ranger class fully supported with specialised equipment
-Battlemage (staff defense) class fully supported in the same way
-Many new monsters (some retextured and others completely new) - with custom magic abilities and angry onDie effects. Many new custom item drops too.
-Traps and puzzles a plenty (with new detection spells to help you discover or avoid them)
-Many new weapons - an arsenal of staff weapons, unarmed weapons (eg, claws / spiked fists etc), new ranged and throwing weapons and of course lots more swords, axes, maces and polearms.
-Items, armour and weapons have lots of race/class/skill dependent bonuses when equipping, attacking, dying etc
-New armour sets (for light, heavy, rogue, staff defense, ranger etc)
-Cursed items with wild effects that require secret uncursing methods (or using potions or remove curse spell),
-Treasure items, gems, coins, ores, tome library and much much MUCH more....
-custom spell effects, sound effects, icons and textures......
..... it's also slightly possible that some music from an old favourite Underworld game of ours has been included
Testing will be no easy thing.

Wow, cant believe its been exactly a year to the day (4th October) from joining the forum to find out about scripting a simple puzzle.... to finishing this beast of a thing

Yes many apologies, I seem to excel in underestimating the time needed to get this thing done.
I had some major problems with file size and exporting - I had to strip it down from 1.4 G to 550mb
But it is done, and ready to be tested.
I can upload to a site or I can email with the dat file attachment I guess.....

Started the play test yesterday.

Did not went so far, due lack of time. Game is working fine until now. I explored some of the first and the second floors. The only thing I noticed, but it's not a bug, it's on the cinematics. When a screen fades, we can still see what was write outside the pictures, before a new picture comes.
Do you know what I mean? Kinda hard to explain
