Did you make monster models and animations using Maya

and will we be able to import our own in our mods?
and if so, their AI, will we be able to implement our own scripts?

Great game, finished on hard, need more :mrgreen:

Not sure about Maya but yes the plan is to allow new monsters according to Petri! :P

The quote from petri does not imply that it will be possible to import new assets. It coud also mean that it just will be possible to modify existing entities.

It's fair to infer from Petri's comment that importing assets will be possible. He doesn't outright say it, but the intention is pretty clear.
