I would rate the franchise this way, best to worse:

Episode VI – Return of the Jedi
Episode III – Revenge of the Sith
Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back
Episode II – Attack of the Clones
Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker
Episode IV – A New Hope
Episode I – The Phantom Menace
Episode VIII – The Last Jedi
Episode VII – The Force Awakens
Interesting rating....! For me, best to worse...

Episode V - Empire Strikes Back
Episode IV - A New Hope (this goes back and forth with Empire)
Episode VI - Return of the Jedi
Episode VII - Force Awakens
Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker
Episode VIII - The Last Jedi
Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
Episode II - Attack of the Clones
Episode I - The Phantom Menace

If we include SOLO... that goes before The Last Jedi.
If we include ROGUE ONE that goes after SOLO.
Define ... 'Lost.' Neverending Nights - The Neverwinter Machinima that WILL make you laugh!

The reason I like so much revenge of the sith, is that the movie shows the fall of Anakin in a very interesting way. Besides, master yoda fighting with a light saber was an immortal scene :)

Overall the second trilogy (I mean in the order they come out) was much better than this last one, imo.

Rogue one was really, really cool. I would hate it above episodes 7 and 8. I didn't watches 'Solo', tough.

Having some spare time at hand i finally decided to watch EP9 so i'm able to compile my rating:

Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back
Rogue One + Episode IV - A New Hope <- seriously, these should be ONE movie!
Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
Episode II - Attack of the Clones
Episode VI - Return of the Jedi
Episode I - The Phantom Menace
Episode VII - The Force Awakens
Episode VIII - The Last Jedi
Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker

I've seen SOLO too and for me it does not belong on this list; beside taking place in the same universe this sideshow movie has no connection to the saga.

My opinions on EP7 and EP8 are already on the previous page.
EP9 .. is cruel. Had i went to a theatre for it i would have left during the opening crawl and asked for my money back. That's how broken it's premise is and it does not get much better. Acting was ok but dialogs were cringeworth, at times like a bad sitcom and emotionally totally over the top, especially C3PO. I'm aware that this movie tried to do damage control for EP8 but that does not justify being a "Raider of the lost Dagger" Indiana Jones copycat first and then devolve into a blatant remake of EP5 and EP6.

I have to say once more, the last trilogy was not that good. I only watched these 3 movies one time, and considering what you're saying, probably my rate for them will drop even more. Anyway, for one thing I give m,y thanks, these 3 movies left me with a sensation of 'completion' after all ;)
