Re: Grimrock 2 impossible for some?

The most intense and best gaming experience that I recall of the last decade was my first day first play —Ironman/single use crystal— session with Grimrock 2. I played it nightly for more than a week, until I completed the game; including Trickster's lair. I wish they'd make more—at least in the sty...

Merry Christmas!

@Skuggasveinn has a good [overland] winter tile set as well.

I agree; especially from Ogres.

Re: [Feedback] The necessity of equipping some items before use

Well, what a pity. Many players have hoped for a Legend of Grimrock III. It's surprising that they would move on instead. Many [~some?] of us still have hope, but it seems exceedingly slim at this point. I had hope that u-Mod support would get implemented for the GoG and direct sale versions of the...

Re: [Feedback] The necessity of equipping some items before use

Only one of the developers has logged into this forum this year, and it had been a year or more since any one of them had logged in previously. They fix the website when it goes down. They have moved on; some to CRTL-ALT-Ninja. See Druidstone , and even this company seems a husk. Their web certifica...

Re: [Suggestion] Consumable tray

We had similar in the ORRR2 mod for LoG1. It was just for potions, and weapon set swapping. I've no idea why it didn't get put into ORRR3 for LoG2—and didn't know it wasn't until I checked for it today. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/ntsof7uswcg2hn3/Quickbar.jpg *If you haven't played this mod ...

It's true, though if your spell casters act last in the sequence (after the others attack), then they are casting their spells while the others recover.

Re: [Suggestion] Less tiresome spellcasting

I would bet that the built in tedium of spell casting is entirely deliberate. Mages are casting magical effects out of thin air—and prone to mid-casting mistakes. It's not like they each carry a magic blunderbuss with spell ammunitions for each effect; select & fire, select & fire. The tediu...

Re: [Suggestion] Options for changing the opacity of UI

I have not tried it out, but the relevant UI hooks would seem to be called only after the normal menu elements are already drawn. It's intended to allow overwriting the GUI. *Of course it might be possible to do this with U-mods, but that's only with the Steam version of the game, and I don't have t...
