its on a timer, and the duration is based on your poison resistance it seems. i want to say default is something like, 5 minutes? seems that way, anyway. resting speeds it up, as it makes "game-time" move faster. crystals are on a 160 second (2 minutes 40) cool down, so they are a decent option also...

i dont recall ever coming across a spell scroll that required more than 19 skill in any given spell skill. you will gain damage bonuses to spells by continuing to put points into a line, so while you will have a large spell selection, you will not be doing optimal damage. as far as everything else, ...

i used this setup also and the game was pretty easy cakes. i got my front row to 34 dodge each, and then dumped the rest of their points into their repsective fighting skills, which i think topped them out at 22? i cant remember. i just know they each had the second ability from their attack skill. ...

i dont know what to call it, but each room had a number of "verses". one had 3, one had 2, one had 1. i just used that to figure out the order.
