Version 1.2 In the northern Forest use the rope to go down to the hideout. Do not open any doors, then open the alcove with the Ogre. Battle and defeat the Ogre. Pick up the spoils and change to the Ogre Weapon for your Troll. Now go down and open the door at the end of the hall and let the rats in....

When your down there the important thing to do is explore the different ways down from above and then circle around to connect the whole area in a loop from the other side. As a rule underwater do move down unless you know you can get back up for sure. Forget about chopping away it's hopeless. Stand...

Yes the first door is opened next to the pressure plate. I thru a rock on the plate, pushed the button on the wall a couple times but the second door does not open

Thanks for the advice with the crabs. I'm playing 1.2 nexus In the flowing sands I defeated the two big guys. Then took care of the Troll in the Crypt. I went back to the flowing sands to hand the sword to the statue the gate went down and I turned and the raptor attacked. I step into the gated area...

Thanks for the update, much appreciated. I have a few things with crabs In the western shore by the crabs is a gate. The switch to open it is on the other side of the gate. Is this correct? In the swap grotto there is a crab in a cage and when you complete it a wingate appears that blocks your team ...

I have been trying several different groups. Sometimes when tired I just over write the save at the cube. That might have messed it up. I removed all my previous saves and started a new brand party.
