Re: Old school gaming Vs New games : Thoughts
Using 'casual' like some sort of insult is amusing. Apparently my ability to set aside swathes of time for gaming is a positive.

Re: Things the devs didn't think through
Having to view a guide to clarify details of stats isn't good.

Re: Back to top levels
It is possible to go back to level 1 from any point until you engage the last boss. After that you're locked.

Re: Why is there No Quiver?
As an idea, the quiver goes in a slot and holds all arrows you pickup. You select the arrows you wish to fire via a right click on it, then an input system (like magic runes but with labels). You'll then continue firing that arrow until you run out or select another.

Re: Old school gaming Vs New games : Thoughts
The point of the Quake satire video is to show that FPS games used to be FUN. Players didn't need to be told what to do, they just got on and did it. Doom and Duke Nukem 3D were the same. Not at all sophisticated or deep by today's standards, but man were they FUN! FUN is the name of the game and i...

Re: Old school gaming Vs New games : Thoughts
One video about one genre of gaming encapsulates the past, what, 15 years of gaming? How bizarre. Tendencies in evolution of games, from reasonably challenging into casually-oriented ones, dumbed down and simplified. A video that references very little. That also uses Quake, a game designed to be s...

Re: What would you like to see added?
I asked to add this option to additional "Real hard" difficulty. If you have problem with mages survability - just dont play on this difficulty, play on usual "Hard" "Normal" or "Easy", already existing difficulties. Keeping mages alive would be hard, but tha...

Re: Did you miss a good item? (REFERENCE)
I'm replaying the game now, with Toorum and I hit an interesting snag while secret-hunting. Level 6 is probably where I missed a secret, and it's nice to see regular progress doesn't require you to enter the Halls of Fire .. because Toorum isn't good enough with throwing items to hit the demon face...
