Re: Ultima Underworld Mod

hope Almost Human reach out to the licence holders of the above games Ultima - Owned by EA Bards Tale - Owned by Interplay EotB - Owned by WotC (See: Hasbro) I honestly don't see any of these big companies releasing their rights to a small indie dev. Or see Almost Human having the money to license ...

Re: Dungeon Editor Progress

That's a good question. We actually don't have a level editor at all. All levels have been coded in a text editor :) Could you share (commented?) sources of any existing level and describe how to connect custom dungeon to LoG? I think if text editor was nice for your team, it would be nice for majo...

Re: Dungeon Editor Progress

I am not guessing the LoG editor to have the complexities of source or the classic worldcraft, unreal editor... etc... I see the mapping part of the editor more as a 2d editor, carving with cubes or squares... Other question is the lightning and of course the script system. but it will depend of an ...

Re: hmm, graph paper or automap...

I agree, people handmap a game because it is fun. If it would not be fun for a player to make a map he would use an automap feature if it existed. But there are a lot of reasons for not to choose old school mode. real life, physical space, commodity for doing it, time invested in auto entertainment....

Re: Want to play older dungeon crawlers.Where to start?

If you never played the classics I recomend: -Try Anvil of Dawn it is a good beggining in the genre. Very polished and relatively user friendly for modern standards -Play one of the first two Eye of the Beholder in the AGA Amiga version because of the automaps, then you could try a DOS version to ma...

Kindest Regards,

It is confusing, yes, but it is just the GoG´s installer number for 1.1.4 version of the game. Download it and the game menu will show you 1.1.4 version number. No problem.

Re: All Spiders Must Die!!!!!!!!!!11!!

Be surprised by venom and spiders in the firsts levels of a Dungeon is a Classic :D

But I must say that in this game all is more fair and less annoying than in other old examples.
And it makes later enemies less dangerous... :D (placebo effect?)

Re: graphics look amazing BUT

Animated portraits are not needed to achieve a great polishing in the interface. We can remember Baldur´s Gate portraits and it worked great. The secret is the quality of the art. But the most remembered or topical examples of Dungeon Crawlers (not all) had the animated portraits, I have it in my mi...

Yes, the saves should be intact, at least I had no problem. I backuped them, but later, looking into the saves folder I saw It was not necessary, nothing had been deleted.

Re: Please fix the shadow color banding problem. Thank you.

Hey, Bluewave256, I got curious so I tried it for myself. I raised my brightness settings and this color banding showed. To my experience, it's just a matter of lowering your brightness until the really shadowed parts look almost pitch black. That's the way the game looks on my monitor. I can't sho...
