There's no way to detect when player loads the game as far as I know. IIRC a way which worked in Log1 was spawning a never-dying FX at runtime and detecting if it still existed, as they weren't restored by save/load cycles (but also going to the menu and change screen resolution, etc.). Not sure if...

My only wish: to be able to remote some basic commands (straight conversion of .fbx, .model and .animation mainly) from the command line.
This has the potential to allow scripted workflows.

You likely can do it "the Log1 way".. which is let the key consume and respawn a new identical key on the mouse cursor.

Sadly we don't know yet (at least, I don't ;) ) how hooks work in Log2 and which methods are available, but I'm pretty sure the above will work.

I have done a tool and library for alternative fonts in Grimrock - you can see it in action in the ORRR2 credits.

I can extend it to support a minimal set of non-English chars (those fitting a codepage).

Will post it here soon :)

That could be an easy way to have the movement effect, but you'd have to "fight the AI" big time.
