Re: Late game wizards
agreed. just like physical damage scales with strength or dex, magic damage should scale with willpower. Interesting, I really haven't been paying too much attention to the little things like this since starting. I thought it would be more like LoG1 in that regard. My guess is the designers wanted ...

Re: digging holes
I would love to see treasure *randomly* generated on levels at game creation for explorers who dare to dig their game away. I dug up all of the first level and also found only one buried chest. I like the idea of hidden treasure at random spots - this would add much more replay-ability when restarti...

Re: Dissapointing firearms?
Just quadrupling the amount of firearms ammo in the game would be a simple way to alleviate the worst issue imo. Completely disagree! The reason is I'd love to give a two-man backrow gun duo a try, and perhaps even a four-man gun quartet. Impossible with the way firearms currently works, and your s...

Re: Dissapointing firearms?
These are really no bullets, but rather musket balls or something. Maybe you could craft these with rocks (!) and Mortar & Pestle Heck I would be happy if after firing I got a dropped item of "Spent Shot" that was recraftable into to ammo somehow. Maybe via Alchemy 4/5 even if took li...

Re: Dissapointing firearms?
So far my firearm experience has been pretty disappointing: All toons level three so far ... This means: the only firearm you have is the small Flinklock pistol. That's not really something to compare to. Indeed. But even so, compared to whats available thus far, the difference is quite noticeable ...

Re: Dissapointing firearms?
So far my firearm experience has been pretty disappointing: All toons level three so far and I can never find enough ammo and the damage is always below my front-line Minotaur Fighter using Heavy Weapons and Human Wizard in the back line using Fire magic no matter how many points I sink into Firearm...

Re: Dissapointing firearms?
I was a bit confused on firearms; my first party - made last night - has an alchemist that uses the firearm skill. I found some ammo and a gun, but if I'm understanding correctly, there is no way to recoup your spent ammo, and currently no way to create new ammo? That seems a bit harsh to me... espe...

Re: Any reason to choose wizard over battlemage?
I'm slightly confused... the new beta patch says the ToolTip was wrong, and that the extra willpower bonus per level is not added in. Does that mean Wizards, as they stand now, are pointless to take when compared to a Battlemage? That's what I'm gathering from what's being said here, and what the ne...

Re: No more need on my end to ask for a performance comparis
Seems LoG has to wait a few days before it can sink it's teeth into a fresh-ordered GTX 760  The 770 has 20% more power for these types of applications (fps-games), but the price is $70-more; 760 770 I went with the 760 when building my computer and my sons purchased the 770. The differenc...

Re: Item related questions/comments
Building up any weapon skill adds a lot more +Damage than with any obtainable amount of Strength in a balanced mod so i don't see these +2.5 race-based Damage as too much of an advantage. It does? I was hoping as much but could not verify this on the Grimrock wiki, or anywhere else for that matter....
