I'll be releasing a fully re-created version of the original game relatively soon (within a few weeks hopefully), which you can edit to your heart's content :) I was thinking you were up to something like this since you are so involved here but haven't really hinted at a WIP. My new WIP is very big so far. It's kinda a "community thanks" dungeon with lots of references and assets.
So far I have floors 1&2 almost done and floors 3-6 just have a 3x3 with a torch and it is 160M.
Hate to know what is gonna end up at.

@thomson I agree, if I had an IP would want it to be as proprietary as possible, get it out there and do my own lic. And I give major kudos to AH the way they handled this IP as small as they are. Working for other big game companies they probably had an exact business model for the way they wanted ...

Goromorg brain

Was messing around trying to get a ogre to open a gate like a goro does.
Gave cloned ogre brain=Goromorg, it will open gate then crash to desktop.
Was looking at goromorg definition for the open door string and don't see it.

Has anyone tried this? Is it hard coded? Can it happen?

And if I'm not mistaken the .model format is something AH uses theirselves, it needed a converter .fbx wasn't the problem.
But he is working on this as well:

All of this is one reason I am on this forum everyday. To me this forum has a real sense of the word community, unlike a lot of other sites.

Wish I would've known sooner so I could've worked on Descent bugs, may have not fixed but def would've tried.
