Re: Old School Mode
Ah, yes, VladePsyker, thanks for the tip - after watching video again I think I've found the compass in the hand of lower-right character at 10:28+. It also means that compass should be able to pick somewhere at some early stage of the game.

Re: Cust0m Character P0rtraits
The game does not support importing custom portraits yet but it is pretty high on our post launch todo list. So portrait support will most likely be added sometime after the release. Portraits are 128x128 pixels and playable character races are humans, minotaurs, lizardmen and insectoids. Can you t...

Old School Mode
As fan of dungeon crawlers I was planing to start the game in Old School Mode, without automap, but after watching this review I realized that something important is missing here - where is the compass? It was one of important things I was using in the old times to play all games in Eye of the Behol...

Re: minimum system requirements: hardware test vs final vers
Well, at first, I was afraid that dual core CPUs could have some additional instructions. But I did a search and I've found that at current state it is even hard for programmers to program proper use of every core so this is mainly for OS / speed of execution (am I right here?) In any case, as I sai...

Re: minimum system requirements: hardware test vs final vers
"Low end machines were also included in this spectrum" - if they tested them then why selected minimum requirements are higher? Is Dual Core CPU able to execute some instructions that Single Core HT CPU can't and developers were "trying" to use them? Is 512MB graphics memory need...

Re: minimum system requirements: hardware test vs final vers
My first thought: what a relief! My second thought: I do hope that during this optimization process developers haven't sacrificed compatibility with fraction of % of systems-below-current-minimum-requirements to gain game runnable on tens of %s of modern systems. :D In any case, it is too late for m...

minimum system requirements: hardware test vs final version
What's probability that if I was able to run hardware test with no problems at all then I will be able to play final build of the game? My reason for this question are listed minimum system requirements - they say: Dual Core CPU and 512MB graphics memory. I have P4C Intel CPU (single core / hyper th...
