It should be easy to make a wooden bed in blender. It only needs 4 cylinders and 5 cubes properly scaled. I made a simple hammock for you for a 3x3 square. In my mod, I am actually working on, you will travel inside an old spaceship. But I´ll do it only for LoG1.
It is a lot of work. Not for making the new models but for making the textures for them and baking these textures to the models.

Nice.
With these flowers and a recipe, the player could make a flower bouquet. This bouquet could be given to a npc (maybe a woman? ;) ) who opens a door or something other, the player can go through into other areas of the level. :D
