Re: D&D 4th Ed Good or Bad?
I can't stand 4th edition, because it changed the game into an MMORPG. Like most things in life, 4th edition is whatever you want to make of it. I've heard this complaint from a lot of people and while I don't disagree that the rules have been designed to more appropriately appeal to the demographi...

Re: Extra Credits on harassment
This is definitely a problem and the solutions certainly aren't straightforward (and very likely need to be determined and applied on a case by case basis as they make the most sense). Gaming forums or other community portals could probably benefit from a system not unlike what Stack Overflow curren...

Re: Norton security risk
Uninstall Norton (yes, I'm serious). Norton is worse than most other malware, imo. Install more sensible (and lightweight) anti-virus and anti-malware tools if you insist on that sense of security, but please do yourself a favor and stop using the likes of Norton.

Re: Level 4 Mushrooms
Yup, that's pretty much what you need to do... always be on the move. If possible concentrate your efforts on one of them until he's dead. Outside of just "being on the move", though, try your best to get them to move into squares you can hit, rather than moving yourself into a square adjacent to th...

If your system is properly cooled you will be safe. Make sure you have vertical sync enabled, you should be fine.

Re: Help with level 5 broken lever and 2 switches
Felt random in some way to me, too... Lots of button pushing and lever flipping eventually did the trick, but when I tried noting which moves I did in what order and repeating the sequence it did not open the second time (possible I missed a step, but seemed unlikely, I was pretty careful about it)....

Send me a PM.
Edit - I sent you one, just shoot me the file and I'll give it a whirl (my work computer isn't as nice as my home one, but I should be able to take care of it).

Re: suggestions regarding 'enchanting' interface
Like the Rogue class didn't do much back stabbing as it wasn't strategic to move tot he back of mobs, unless they were slow like the Trolls. I've been getting a fair amount of mileage out of my backstabbing since enemies are easy to freeze with my Ice Mage. Freeze them, saunter around behind them, ...

Re: D&D 4th Ed Good or Bad?
4th edition was clearly designed to appeal to a wider audience (namely the crowd of people who have been born and raised playing games like WoW). While I don't wholeheartedly agree with the direction, I think it was a good move on their part. The friends I grew up playing 2e with have started a 4e c...

Re: To Petri, Peeba and Juho...
But who knows if he was justified? And anyway don't you think you're kinda doing the same thing right now? The same thing? No, I don't particularly feel like I'm throwing a hissy fit because someone didn't respond to me and give me free things that I want. If you'll go back and reread my first post...
