Re: [Spoilers] Atlas Compendium - Secrets, Items, & Equipmen

That's perfect!

Actually, one small question: does "#x attack power" refer to the total normal damage or only one part of it (the weapon base or the ability modifier)?

Edit: And a second one! What about the "Harvest Time" special of the scythe?

Re: [Spoilers] Atlas Compendium - Secrets, Items, & Equipmen

Is there any chance of getting the weapon special attacks' stats posted along with the standard values? It's clear from some other threads that the special attacks have separate cooldown times, and it isn't always obvious what a given special attack does in game terms (double or triple damage? how m...

LoG2 Updates/Blog?

We're coming up on the two-month mark for the last blog entry and the 2.1.17 update, so I'm curious: now that Almost Human has had a well-earned Xmas holiday, are we likely to see any new updates (or previews) in the next month or so? I'd like to start a new party but I'm fretting that I'll end up d...

Re: Very hot

I'm coming to this thread a bit late, but is the problem mostly showing up on laptops or is it frequently hitting desktop systems as well? It's true that a system's cooling should be able to handle the excess heat unless something is wrong with it, but laptops generally don't seem to be designed wit...

Fire elemental / disappearing throwing weapon connection?

I just saw this post over in the Steam forums: http://steamcommunity.com/app/251730/discussions/0/627456487047842963/ The important bit is: "Fire elementals (the flying bat guys that suicide-bomb you; not the ones from the Island Master boss fight) do not drop throwing weapons they have absorbed if ...

Re: Food and Puzzles don't mix

The current design makes food worth paying attention to but not worth getting stressed about, and that's the ideal balance, IMO. The old games that used limited food and killed your party without it were a means of introducing fake difficulty, effectively forcing the player to restart (and re-grind)...

Re: Beta 2.1.18

Right, because being so scared you can't move your muscles (petrified) is the similar to being dead and having no blood flow and total loss of internal organ functions (death). Being "petrified" in this context means "the character has been turned into a stone statue", just like the classical medus...

Re: Legend of Grimrock 2 Soundtrack

Is there any chance of the soundtrack being made available via the game retailers themselves? I don't know about Steam but I know it isn't currently available via GoG. I'd be willing to buy it there but I'd rather not have to deal with iTunes/etc.

Re: Beta 2.1.18

***FINAL COMMENTS: And the rapier not being dex based is ridiculous! Have you ever used one IRL? They are used for fencing, which requires finesse and guile over brute strength. Minor nit really. The modern fencing foil is a descendant of the rapier, but it's one designed for modern (nonlethal) spo...

Re: Beta 2.1.18

- Firearms: not there - Special attacks: either done automatic (LoG1), selected like regular attacks with growing cooldowns (DM) or not there (EoB) - Charged items: i agree they should cost a lot less energy but that's it - Cooldowns: no difference; check your reference DM for it's cooldowns: they ...
