Can someone fill me in on what exactly Rift is? So I cheated a bit and looked up the Grimrock Complete Spell List. Sue me. Anyhow, I was getting slaughtered on level 6 doing the Fighter Challenge with my two archers up front and two wizards in back, so I figured, "hey, Invisibility should work great here... only reason I went Air instead of Fire....

Just my imagination?

It seems the deeper into the dungeon I get, the faster the torches burn /and/ the faster the "light" spell fades. Is this just my imagination or is there something to this? Also, if this is true, does food dwindle quicker the deeper you go also?

This is really my first play-through of Grimrock. I just made it to level 5 on the original Grimrock.

1 - Complete the game then load up Master Quest and redo all the levels from the top,
2 - Start Master Quest now, or
3 - Restart Grimrock with a new party using Master Quest?

Yes, completely. I suppose that might work in a sand-boxed game such as this, but tack on mp and that's out the window because people would instantly get all the +vit gear for their level-1 toons.
