You could easily run a party with two Rogues on the back line; thrown weapons and bows are about equally viable. Mages are handy for taking torch management out of the equation, but they aren't absolutely required.

if that's the case then the most skill points you can earn by leveling without extensive farming of respawning mobs is 56. that's not a lot of wiggle room if you plan on taking your guys to 50 in any skill :( You might want to double check your math. A level 13 Human with Skilled has 55 skill points.
