Re: The Earth Mage
I haven't made an Earth Mage. They might be useful when dealing with the hordes of spiders by setting up poison clouds on the other side of doors, or boosting poison resistance if you can get enough points in Earth Magic to cast the poison shield by that stage of the game. Other than that... they do...

Re: Party of Titans most effective party uptoday
Oh and Empyrean, YOU are clearly the stupid one (and closed-minded) for not only starting off your argument ad hominem, but repeating it again at the end. His party may not suit your play style, but that does not mean he is stupid. Oh look, yet another idiot who doesn't know what "ad hominem" actua...

Re: Party of Titans most effective party uptoday
OP is stupid and doesn't understand how the game works. High strength on a ranged character is standard practice. Diverting points from the weapon skill into Athletics to get a couple more points of strength hurts your damage output, because skill points in weapon skills matter more than skill point...

Re: 4 Mages viable?
One trick I found was I put the party order such that it reminds me what runes to press. I mean I put the Fire guy first (on 1) so I remember his rune is top left), Air mage on position 2 cause his base rune is top right, etc. It helped learn/memorize all the basic spells fast. I would suggest doin...

Re: 4 Mages viable?
Four mages is viable in the sense that any party is viable. You can do it, but I won't imagine you'll have an easy time in the tougher fights. Against individual monsters, Mage damage is so front-loaded that you'll be able to blow them away instantly. When you have to fight groups, or get surrounded...

Re: What about this 4 heroes idea?
If you take Skilled as a starting trait for Human characters, you'll end up with 55 points (give or take four, depending on how many monsters you kill) by the end of the game. Your human fighter should use only Unarmed Combat, no Athletics. Stats are mostly irrelevant compared to skill point allocat...

Re: Some puzzles are **** like The Pillared Hallway !
The OP is butt-hurt because he wasn't smart enough to solve the Pillared Hallway. That's not the developers' fault. Maybe you should have reconsidered your interpretation for the instructions for moving through a hallway when your interpretation involved nothing but spinning in circles? The hint was...

There's a puzzle later in the game that requires one. Hold onto one even if you don't have Headhunter (and kick yourself for not bringing a Minotaur with Headhunter, because it rules).
