Re: I needed help on character creation

Semi spoilers and stuff. If you're planning on a bow/throwing weapon backline rogue, then do not drop everything in dex. Instead drop everything in strength, as this is the only attribute that affects damage and since ranged weapons do not miss, the accuracy from dex isn't necessary(and obviously si...

I asked that before and the answer was yes, but I have yet to try it myself.

Re: Tank spec

Shield Expert is going to give you more evasion than the dex you get from Athletics once you find a decent shield. 4dex is 4evasion iirc, even the basic shield you get from the skeletons at the start of the game give +5evasion from shield expert and scales as you find better shields. I'd drop Athlet...

If you mean the doors in the boss room, it's all single rooms with some loots to help you kill the boss(health pots, lightning rod and lightning bombs)

Re: Are rogues useful?

Is it better to go with a ranged rogue (basically maxing out only missile weapons, the rest is useless to that king of gameplay) or with an assassination/dagger rogue considering they both stay in the back row? Better with missile(or even throwing weapons). Backline melee rogue is meh, mostly becau...

Re: Armor skill really worth it?

Armor is only worth it to unlock the armor types, but it's definitely much better to do that than wear the armor with the skills. If you don't want to put too many points, you could only get the lightarmor one and use chitin armor(you'll have to look for it though), it gives almost plate protection ...

Re: Are bows worth it?

You don't need to reenchant, or even enchant at all. At the end of the game, only my mage was doing more damage than my archer, and not by all that much(fire mage too). Bow was hitting for 40-70 per arrow, 2shots per cooldown, and cooldown was like 3-4secs(same as dagger on my frontline rogue, about...

Re: Mages, Am I doing it wrong

He probably meant the damage spells of one school, which generally requires 12-16points or something like that. I had Fireball very early too since I dumped all my points in fire besides the 2 in spellcraft for wisdom and the initial mage weapon. ALL the spells of 2 schools (Air and Ice), I ran wit...

Re: For those that beat the game. Let's get some basic stats

1) 12h30, but a lot more counting the reloads and stuff. Steam says 19hours, but a bit of it afking and I rerolled at lvl 3 or so, so likely 16hours. 2) I only needed help for the very last puzzle, and I wouldn't have needed help if it was more obvious you had to click in specific parts of the scree...

Re: Levelling up gratuitously...

There's a few infinite spawns but they're all very slow. Also the snails and skeletons(2 of the more common ones) give very little xp. The only good one xp wise would be lizards at lvl 7 or 8 I forgot, first time you see them, but they spawn like once every couple of minutes so it's not really pract...
