Re: graphics look amazing BUT

I think that portraits where the characters become increasingly "beat up" belong in games that have somewhat of a sarcastic style. I really don't think it would suit Grimrocks seriousness at all. I don't really have an opinion one way or the other about this (I was bored enough this morning to read...

Re: Mod Team Theta - Official Thread

How will this work? Are you planning a full mod/dungeon/scenario with all the ideas in it, or will you create lots of little mods that people can mix-and-match as they choose? For the most part, this will be decided as we learn the limitations we'll have as the tools are released. We are planning o...

I'd like to extend a warm welcome to Darkhaven3! He's got some great ideas that are sure to keep you on your toes once this train gets rollin'.

Re: Interested in group project(s)

Thanks for joining us, we`re gonna need all the help we can get. As for ishar, i doubt we`ll be able to make something as grand and free roaming as that, but some outdoor areas shoulden`t be to hard as long as we have people who can make new textures. This would be like a dungeon but instead of wal...

Re: Interested in group project(s)

Good morning, all! My shift was called off for this morning, so I've popped over from http://www.grimrock.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=1853 (thanks for the invite, Patch and Dragonkin!). My stats: I've made dozens of maps for old-school games, including Wolf 3D (that was a total conversion), Spear...

Re: New monsters and other stuff to put in the custom levels

So as I review my gametime with LOG, im kind of dissapointed in myself for not playing these games sooner. Recently i played Lands of lore 1 just to get into the game and I found it quite pleasing. I actually played past the mines and got to some amazones untill my eyes finally said enough. In my g...

It depends on what game you're trying to mod for...your best best is to do a Google search. If you're looking to mod Grimrock, the tools haven't yet been released.

Re: A possible, yet radical solution to easy modding

A fully playable expansion with e.g. new monsters, a new dungeon and a new wallset, assets that can be used for modding too, would be a completely different thing :) I was hoping you would say this. people may become increasingly annoyed at having to shell out $5 here or £10 there for additional co...
