You cant just lump things together without any proof. because it rarely adds up correctly. I cant speak for anyone else but i like the hunger system and alway's play the game on hard mode. however i dont use iron man or single use crystal mode. never have. To each their own.

I hardly see grimrock 2 as having "greatly matured" from grimrock 1. the scenery is different, thats the only difference. Character building was just as much a part of the oldschool games of the genre as it is now. Managing hunger adds to the immersion and fun for me and many others. it al...

jesus azel stop being obtuse on the "direct food" thing. a snail respawning is food. you are high level by the time you would go back their and kill a lvl 1 monster in 1 hit stop acting like it's somehow different then grabbing a fish out of the water. I would say it's easier to kill a lvl...

Grimrock 2 is still a dungeon crawler to me. I dont care what you make the backround look like. twigroot forest is just as much a dungeon level as the mechanics of the game are still the exact same. We are really just talking about how it looks. Their are no towns or shopping or npc or anything real...

Food is great and should stay. it's actually to easy. I remember playing dungeon master, getting 15 hours into the game way down in the dungeon and starving to death. over and over and over. thats why i never beat it as a kid. that came later when i found dmjava as an adult. you dont even lose healt...

Magic is not weak, what is weak is the wizard class. On my second playthrough where I killed the island master my battle mage was a WAAAY better choice then the wizard the first time around. Put him in the front, 4 points in armor, 3 in air and max fire and concentration. 480 energy meteor shooting ...

Magic is by no means weak. What is weak is the wizard class.
