Explanation:

The entrance isn't under water. You need to have access to the central island with the shrine. Once you get there, finding the cave isn't difficult.

Are you sure you are wearing all six pieces and getting the glowing outline effect? For me, equipping the last piece increases health by 80, while the piece itself only offers +5 HP.

Crystal provides a health bonus.
