Re: a nice cavern filled with lava

Very nice. I was attempting a lava effect over a water surface but it completely destroyed framerate. I'm eager to see how this runs, it looks great.

Re: Firearms - how to customize

I just plan to raise the base damage, to me this seems the best solution since I like the limited ammo. I think the problem was just that the damage wasn't good enough to overlook the drawbacks, but by getting rid of those drawbacks it would lose part of it's uniqueness.

Re: Modding original game

Sorry, reading over that I was unclear. I mean literally copy the assets over in the editor itself. Select all, copy, open new project, paste. As far as I know you can't copy the tiles but that is easy to fill in manually since your looking at it; the large majority of the dungeon.lua is now in your...

Re: Princes of Pale Moon

Best mod from what I have seen so far. Good looking and atmospheric. Could use some more puzzles and I didn't like the pressure plates leading to the crypt due to mixing instant death with trial and error. All in all though, a fun mod through to the end. The barking dog sound is just part of the sta...

Re: Modding original game

A new project, as the one you opened it in isn't using dungeon.lua anymore.

You'll need to have two editors open so you can copy the levels over to a new dungeon. If you have the steam only version I'm not sure if you can do this as steam won't run a game twice.

I remember when I first found that puzzle I thought "Really? this is going to piss some people off..." but then found I really liked it too.

Re: Modding original game

You can copy it and save it as a new project and export it. Now whether or not people are allowed to submit modded original games as a "master quest" is up to AH. It's different since Komag made his from scratch. :)

Re: Tetharion (test level)

Hmm, that is a nice system Batty I would have expected it to run flawlessly for you. That is exactly what I was getting too fps wise, but my system is getting old. Phenom II X4 4GB ram GTX 260 (1920x1080 res.) Just by turning down the shadow quality it makes a large difference and runs alright. The ...

Re: Tetharion (test level)

Thanks for the tip. The shadowing is definitely my main cause of lag. The level is also a huge area with a lot going on. If it does cause too many performance issues I'll first work on cutting down the shadows.
