Like someone said in the other thread just enter a 2x2 room, opened by trickster.. follow him around with invisibility. (Follow trickster for a while then lead him to a 2x2 room that he opens... try not to kill him... the room with the longest view is best. You might have to lead him around the dung...

Fire shield for the crystal mine fire elementals is all I used on hard1save, just in case they come too fast. The ones in the castle were easier to hit and 4 ratlings had high resistances b4 the end.
